WTP Business Opportunities
The scope of the services provided by Bechtel National, Inc. and principal subcontractor AECOM includes the design, construction, and startup of the Hanford Tank Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant, also known as the Vit Plant.
Bid Lists
The Vit Plant develops a bid list for each subcontracting opportunity prior to issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP). Qualified vendors are encouraged to register in the Bechtel National, Inc. Supplier Registration Database to be considered for upcoming opportunities.
The information provided via the Bechtel National, Inc. Supplier Registration Database will be used to assess a company's general capabilities. While the Vit Plant seeks to maximize the use of competition for most subcontracted material and service purchases, the completion of the registration process does not guarantee participation in any RFP.
Full and open competition on the Vit Plant is not required. However, the Vit Plant seeks to ensure a sufficient number of firms meeting the general and project-specific criteria are invited to bid to provide for an adequate level of competition for each RFP. The determination of the adequate level of competition and approval of the final bid list is at the sole discretion of the Vit Plant. Following Vit Plant approval of the final bid list, RFPs will be made available on an INVITATION ONLY BASIS.
